What's new?
VELUX© recently updated their products giving a new choice of fabrics and introduced a new type of blind - the VELUX© Duo Blackout Blind. This is a combination blind with a WOW factor! Just one of the blinds can be seen, or both together giving you total control of the light entering you room. With two different colours, it can change the look of your room, as well as the lighting effect. The blackout can block all, or just some of the light, whilst the semi-opaque pleated blind diffuses the rest. Currently only four combinations of fabrics are available.
The new Flying Pleated Blind is different to the old Pleated Blind because it can open at both the top and bottom; providing versatility in how it looks and how much light comes in. The 100% translucent fabric will diffuse and soften the light, creating a gentle and calm setting.
Remotely controlled blinds are now available as Blackout Blinds, Roller Blinds, Venetian Blinds and Awning Blinds.

1 The Electric Remotely Controlled Blind - for electrically operated windows
Electric Remote Controlled blinds will only work with VELUX© Integra Electric Roof Window System, these blinds need to be wired into the existing control panel of the Integra system to work. These are available for Blackout Blinds, Roller Blinds, Venetian Blinds and Awning Blinds
2 The Solar Remotely Controlled Blind - for manually operated windows
These remotely controlled blinds are not dependent on VELUX© electrically operated windows, they will work with any VELUX© Roof window. The best bit is that because this blind makes its own power from the solar panels, it is easy to fit - no wires, cables or complex fitting is necessary! Solar Remote Controls are only available for Blackout Blinds.
